In 2020 the Design Advocacy Group has promoted advocacy in the excellence and equity of design, planning, architecture, and transportation of Philadelphia.

 

Help us continue to deliver quality community programming in 2020 including free monthly events, special tours and forums.

 

Your tax-deductible contribution helps DAG present its free, monthly, open-to-the-public meetings and special events and supports DAG’s advocacy initiatives. Even a small contribution is a signal to potential funders and decision makers that DAG matters!

 

DAG is careful with your dollars; we run on volunteer power with only one part-time staffer, supported with the generosity of the William Penn Foundation.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we moved our monthly meetings online, and ensured that they would remain free and open to the public. We’ve continued to publish DAG Forum pieces to bring new perspectives on the physical environment, and we launched DAG Dispatch, our weekly round-up of news and happenings in the world of architecture, planning, and design. We also launched our work on a charette for the Schuylkill waterfront alongside the Grays Ferry neighborhood in collaboration with our partners at PennPraxis. Your support will help us continue and expand these efforts into 2021.Your contribution to DAG is tax-deductible because DAG is a project of CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia, a charitable 501(c)(3) trust supporting diverse cultural practices in the Philadelphia region.
